1:1 Device Program

Byron's 1:1 program is designed to equip students with the skills necessary for a digital and information-driven future. Recognizing the importance of integrating technology within education, our goal is to ensure that technology becomes an integral part of the educational experience. To achieve this, the district will provide every student from kindergarten through 12th grade with a personal device.

These devices are tools for problem-solving and critical thinking, enhancing students’ ability to analyze and engage with their learning material. By integrating technology, we shift the educational approach from traditional teaching to facilitating an active learning environment where students can realize their full potential.

This program supports a continuous and dynamic interaction among students, educators, parents, and the broader community, promoting an immersive learning experience that does not replace but rather complements and enhances a high-quality, standards-based curriculum.

  • Equip students with digital tools to enhance and expedite learning processes.
