Byron Facility Usage

Byron School District encourages the use of district facilities for community activities. Those wishing to use Byron facilities must complete and submit an application 10 days prior to the date of the requested rental. Renters can complete the application online or in person. To submit an online application, please click here "ONLINE APPLICATION"
This must be done at least 10 days before the date of the event requested. Please note you must also provide proof of insurance at the time you submit your paper copy.
Before sending in your application, please be sure to read the district policy and the usage guidelines, which are found below. Please check District Rates & Fees for locations and their fees.
**It is important to note that ALL rentals will require some form of insurance. This will need to be provided by the rentee and obtained at their own expense. More information regarding insurance can be found under the Insurance Information located on the left side of the page.

Example of a certificate of liability
As a potential renter, insurance must be provided. The district currently requires $1.5 Million in coverage. Below is an example of a certificate of liability. Renters will need to contact their insurance agent to request a certificate of liability in order to complete their rental agreement with Byron Public Schools. We need to have this 10 days before the rental in order to finalize the agreement.
If you are in need of insurance, please note that Tenants and Users Liability Insurance Policy (TULIP) is event insurance that renters can purchase at a competitive price. Click HERE for a flyer with a bit more information on TULIP.An example of a certificate of liability has been provided below if you need it to help secure appropriate coverage. Please note that the suggested coverage amount should be $1.5 million.

Policy
These are important guidelines for groups using Byron facilities. It is your responsibility to be familiar with and adhere to these guidelines. They are part of district policy and failure to comply may result in additional fees and/or the inability to rent from the Byron School District in the future.
Fees
Included in our policy, under GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES, renters can find information regarding what classification their group would fall under as well as rental rates.
