• District Liason Officer

Deputy Tom Olson
  • From Officer Tom Olson:

I am excited about my new role with the Sheriff’s Office and the opportunity to partner with the Byron School District. I have been a Deputy with Olmsted County since 2008 and have worked in the patrol and transport divisions. I am a Crisis Intervention Team member and coach, trained in responding and assisting to persons experiencing a mental health crisis. As well, I am a Peer Support Team member with Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Rochester Police Department. I’ll be taking a couple of classes this summer-specific to School Recourse Officers. I live in Byron and have two children in the district. I am very much looking forward to getting to know the kids and staff in the Byron District.
