OUR PURPOSE

• Inform licensed teaching staff of licensure criteria.
• Review and approve teaching license renewal clock hour requests. 
• Recommend relicensure for certified staff who meet state and local criteria.
• Determine number of clock hours required for mandated topics. 

DUTY OF LICENSEE TO RENEW

It shall be the responsibility of the person seeking the renewal of a continuing professional teaching license to comply with licensure renewal requirements and to submit clock hour requests, appropriate verification, and other supporting materials to the local continuing education committee in accordance with procedures and due dates established by that committee as per state rule.
