The United Way of Olmsted County believes that there are essential opportunities that we all need to reach our potential: a quality education that leads to a stable job, income that can support a family through retirement, and achievement of our optimal health. The United Way's work in education provides many resources including school supplies, winter coats, and scholarship funding to our Byron preschool students.
Angel Fund
The Byron Community Foundation is a tool for the philanthropy of individuals, families, businesses, and other organizations dedicated to strengthening and enhancing our Byron community by engaging our citizens, connecting resources where needed, and building a sense of community.
The Byron BearPacks Food Program provides light meals and snacks to students over the weekend, when they do not have access to school meals. This program is run directly out of the schools and relies on donations from generous givers.
