Staff Development Committee

We are committed to providing training with a specific focus, whether it’s related to Curriculum, Instruction, Intervention, or Assessment.

• Teachers and Support Staff may request Staff Development by filling out the staff development request form found in Vector
• Upon attending Staff Development; staff will be expected to share their learning with colleagues: this may be done in a variety of ways:
  • Through PLCs
  • Staff Meetings
  • Professional Days

Professional days & Staff development are embedded into our school calendar. This is an opportunity for staff to receive ongoing professional development.

• Professional Days & Staff Development days are opportunities for district staff and or speakers to provide district-wide staff development.

Our middle school schedule has allowed us to provide a specific Team Time Professional Development each week. Our middle school teachers participate in discussions around relevant topics.

Teachers have the option of visiting any classroom three times per year for additional peer review of best practices. See Teacher Professional Growth and Development page.
