Byron Community Education is guided by an advisory council. The council meets 4 times a year to assess Community Education, School Readiness and Early Childhood Family Education programs, as well as to look at new program options. The Advisory Council is a diverse group of individuals who represent various organizations, such as service organizations, religious organizations, nonprofits, local government, parents, park and recreation, as well as other groups serving youth or adults in the community education program in Byron. Working together to identify goals and the best interests of individuals in the community, this group advises the Community Education Director on programming for all members of Byron.
